All about The Wee Farm Distillery

The Wee Farm Distillery is South Lanarkshire’s hidden gem based on the McKerr family’s farm in the village of Climpy near Forth, South Lanarkshire.  The first micro distillery in South Lanarkshire established in March 2018 is a one woman operation run by Jenny McKerr on the livestock farm, along with her husband and three daughters.

Our Tasty Gin

Our craft copper still ‘Morag II’ double distills traditional botanicals with a native twist to craft small batches of gin which are then bottled and labelled in the distillery on the farm.

Our very first launch product is ‘Drover's Gin’ which celebrates Scotland's rich agricultural heritage and pays respect to the values, traditions and spirits of farmers who continue to put food on our table every day. It's the perfect gin to compliment a good Scotch steak due to the careful balance of citrus, thistles, heather, pink peppercorns and allspice.

Range and Seasonality

Our 50cl artist edition (Jan Laird ‘Drovers Gin Coo’) comes in a beautiful presentation tube and are available to order.

Our Farmer Strength Drover's Gin is bottled at 57% to give more appreciation of the complex botanicals with a deeper flavour.

In November 2019, we launched Clydesdale gin to celebrate our regional heritage of clyde valley fruit growing and of course the Clydesdale horse. It’s a 40% gin, full of fresh rhubarb and apples and comes in a 50cl bottle.

We also produce a wide range of unique gin liqueurs at the farm and we offer a range of gift packaging options too.
